My session fee is $200 for 45-minute appointments and, occasionally, I am able to offer sliding scale appointments for $70 per session through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective or those who have financial need. I also take Lyra and Modern Health EAPs and can provide superbills for out-of-network health insurance plans.
Because I work with individuals with various illnesses, to ensure the health and safety of my immunocompromised clients, the majority of therapy sessions are conducted through a secure, HIPAA compliant video platform.
Identity, Illness + Change
Whether you are coping with cancer, chronic illness, grief and loss, caregiving, major life transitions, or pursuing psychotherapy for gender-affirming care, I provide a supportive and collaborative space to process what you’re going through.
I have extensive experience working with teens, young adults and adults navigating complex and often misunderstood medical conditions, including POTS and other forms of dysautonomia, Lyme disease, chronic fatigue syndrome, arthritis, and other chronic illnesses. Living with illness can impact every part of life — identity, relationships, work, independence, and mental health — and therapy can help you navigate those changes with greater support and understanding.
My approach is client-centered, existential, and tailored to the individual needs of each client. I draw from evidence-based practices while recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all.
Virtual therapy allows clients to access support from the comfort of their own space without the added stress of commuting or disrupting an already demanding schedule. Please note that clients must be physically located in Arizona, California, Florida, or North Carolina at the time of sessions, as I am licensed only in those states.
Cancer + Chronic Illness
If you or someone you love is navigating cancer, chronic illness, or grief, you may be carrying an overwhelming mix of emotions — fear, uncertainty, sadness, anger, exhaustion, isolation, or a sense that life no longer feels recognizable. These experiences can affect every part of a person’s life, including relationships, identity, work, and mental health.
With over a decade of experience specializing in cancer, chronic illness, grief, and loss, I provide a supportive and compassionate space where clients can process what they are going through honestly and without judgment. My goal is to help clients feel less alone while developing meaningful ways to cope, adapt, and move through the emotional realities of illness, caregiving, death, and major life change.
I believe people are capable of resilience and healing, even in the midst of profound uncertainty and loss, and therapy can provide space for both practical support and deeper meaning-making during difficult times.
Grief, Loss + Death + Dying
Grief can affect every part of a person’s life — emotions, relationships, identity, sense of safety, and connection to the future. Whether you are grieving the death of a loved one, coping with illness, navigating infertility, relationship loss, caregiving, gender transitioning or another major life change, grief can feel isolating and overwhelming.
There is no “right” way to grieve and no standard timeline for healing. Therapy can provide a space to share your story, process the complex emotions that come with loss, and feel less alone in what you are carrying.
I specialize in grief, loss, death and dying, with extensive professional and personal experience in the grief field. In addition to over a decade of experience facilitating cancer and grief support groups, I completed a post-graduate program in thanatology and became a Certified Thanatologist through ADEC in 2024. My approach is compassionate, honest, and grounded in the understanding that grief is not something to “fix,” but something to move through with support, meaning-making, and care.
Insurances I Accept
I accept Lyra Health and Modern Health, two Employee Assistance Programs that may be provided by your employer. I am considered an “Out of Network” provider for all other insurances and will provide you with a Superbill to submit to your insurance company upon request.
Reduced Fee Sessions
Therapy is an investment in your relationship with yourself and others, a worthy investment of your time and emotions. It is also a financial investment as well. I believe therapy should be accessible for everyone, so periodically I will accept sliding scale clients coping with cancer, illness and/or grief for $70 per session through Open Path Psychotherapy Collective who are able to demonstrate financial need.
